Pamphaios

Greek, active 530–495 BC
BiographyPamphaios was also a Greek vase painter, most active around the end of the 6th century B.C. He trained in the workshop of Nikosthenes, a well-known potter who was considered highly influential and creative. Pamphaios took over his teacher's workshop in 510 B.C. and continued the previous tradition of depicting specific shapes and themes in the red-figure style.
