More Information
Beyond steep mountain slopes, other peaks rise up in the distance. The region lies under a thick blanket of snow, and the sky is bright with the imminent dawning of a new day. The world seems calm and peaceful. The snow swallows up every sound made by the group on their way to the summit, where Kameyama Castle, which served as both an overnight stopping place for travelers and a military base, stands.
