Status
Not on viewRobetta was a Florentine artist to whom approximately forty prints have been attributed. As with many of his prints, Robetta based the present image on the work of another Florentine artist, Filippino Lippi. While he borrowed elements from Lippi's work, either directly from his 1496 painting or from the related preparatory drawings, Robetta revised Lippi's composition in his own way, making small changes to the composition and figures surrounding the Christ child.
