ProvenanceExcavated 1970/1 by Walter Bryan Emery (1902-1971), Hawk Gallery, Redim., H5-2808, The Sacred Animal Necropolis, North Saqqara, Egypt;¹ by gift 1977 to Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin, OH Notes: ¹Curatorial file contains statement from US Customs. Letter, dated October 17, 1978, from Rosalind Hall, Archivist with The Egyptian Exploration Society, indicates that all objects given (1977.97-107) were excavated in the 1970/1 and 1971/2 seasons. This object's place of discovery was North Saqqara, Sacred Animal Necropolis, Egypt.
