Gilmour painstakingly creates scale replicas of everyday objects out of cardboard and recycled materials. His conceptual sculpture practice developed out of his earlier work making prototypes and models. This cardboard sculpture emulates an iconic typewriter model designed by the Italian brand Olivetti.
