On viewWith a background in architecture, Choi incorporates drafting equipment into her prints and drawings that were once fundamental to her architectural practice but have become obsolete in the digital age. The colorful shapes in these three works are traces from vintage line tape, conventionally used for making precise measurements. Here, Choi puts these implements to entirely new ends, evoking histories of abstraction, from Constructivism to Abstract Expressionism.
