On the Yuanmen Bridge, where fresh flowers are sold, those laborers are as fierce as horses kicking people.
The heat in Yangzhou is so unbearable that I retreated
to live by the sea, where it feels like spring.
The seventh month of the third year of Qianlong [1738],
