Status
Not on viewBolotowsky began his professional career as a figurative expressionist but gradually adopted a non-objective style inspired by the art of Piet Mondrian, which he first saw in New York in 1933. In response, Bolotowsky eliminated organic forms from his work in favor of sharply defined linear structures. His compositions are about the interaction of abstract forces without reference to any particular material objects.
