More Information
Carefully made reproductions of ukiyo-e prints—like this one probably made in the early 20th century—responded to the demand for ukiyo-e prints in Europe and the Americas. In comparing this print to originals in other collections, scholars have noted subtle differences in the color block layers and some details from the black key block.
